Our country home is 5 kms to the Lake Maggiore and there are a lot of things to see and to do.

· the Lago Maggiore

o the Piedmont's side with Arona, Stresa and the "Borromee" Islands, Verbania, Cannero Rivera, etc. till Swiss;

o the Lombardy's side with Angera, Luino,ect.

o the natural parks of the Lake Maggiore ("Parco dei Lagoni", "Parco del Bosco Solivo", "Canneti di Dormelletto", etc.)

· the Lake Orta

o Orta, Omegna, Pella and all the villages near the lake, the Saint Giulio's island, etc.

· the Mottarone with the wonderful sight of the Lakes

· the Lago of Mergozzo and the Toce river

· the Ticino river and the "PARCO DEL TICINO"

· at about 150m far from our home you can visit the "PARCO FAUNISTICO DELLA TORBIERA" in Agrate Conturbia;

· at 5km in Pombia you can visit the ZOO SAFARI PARK;

By car, in about an hour, you can reach and visit:

· the Ossola Valleys (Val Vigezzo, Val Formazza, Val Loana, and the Parco della ValGrande)

· the Sesia Valley (Alagna, Carcoforo, Varallo Sesia and the Sacro Monte, ecc.)

· the Monferrato countryside

· Milan, Turin, etc.

What to do

You can walk, ride a bicycle in the woods near our home.

In Borgo Ticino, there is also a GOKART ring and, for golf lovers, there are also the international famous Golf Club CastelConturbia in Agrate Conturbia and Golf Bogogno, a few km far from our home.
